Beauty and preservation of youth, is a universal matter. Every woman, at any time,  had to face this difficult problem. To keep their skin young and beautiful, women of the past had invented clever tricks, that had been perfected by trial-and-error, and that should be preserved in the modern era.

Outer beauty is tighly linked to inner beauty, and health. Everyone should, therefore, drink at least 1-2 glasses of water every day; proper hydration of the body starts within. Drinking enough water, gives freshness, and brightness to our skin. With not enough water, the cells of the body are destroyed, and the skin looses its elasticity and becomes old.

Fruits and vegatables also enables us to maintain the brightness and fresnhness of our skin. A balanced diet in vitamins B (provided mainly by meat, milk, cheese, and eggs), and vitamin C (mainly in fruits and vegetables) helps both our organism, and our skin. Smoking, on the other hand, is bad for the health,  and has a profound negative impact on the skin; it dehydrates it, and makes it age prematurely.

Sleep as much as possible; sleep makes the skin bright and beautiful. Sleep strengthens the immunization system, and allows for faster cell recreation, that results to a more healthy skin, and a more healthybody in general. Use a demake-ip and wash your face, before going to sleep, to open the pores of the skin. Use a liquid or emulsion cleaner to clean your skin from the makeup and dirt. You should also wash your face every day with cold water, to keep your skin firm and young.

Alway use creams and make-up that have sunscreen filters. Excessive sun exposure causes serious damage to the skin, causing photo-aging and increasing the risk of developing skin cancer.

Use a natural skin peel  often, since it removes dead cells,  the sebum, pollutants, and the residues of  the make-up, and allows the skin to rejuvenate. Do it twice a week if you have oily skin, once a week if you have normal skin, once in 10 days if you have dry or dehydrated skin.

Apply at least once a week a moisturizing mask or a mask based on clay onto your face. Use a moisturizer every day and night. The night cream helps our skin needs to breathe during sleep, and revitalizes the skin; so you should always use it.
